Video Game Consoles
Here, takes a quick look at the latest video game consoles including the XBox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro.

XBox One X
Created by Microsoft, the Xbox One X is the latest upgrade to the Xbox One console. Released in 2017, the X version boasts updated software and a sleeker design, although in many ways it is similar to the original Xbox One released in 2013, which followed on from the Xbox 360. Priced at around $500, this console can play all the latest Xbox compatible games and can be used to play games online. Just like its competitor, the Sony PlayStation, this Xbox can be used to stream movies, surf the internet and do many other things aside just gaming.

PlayStation 4 Pro
The PlayStation 4 Pro is a smaller, more lightweight and faster version of the chunkier PlayStation 4, although again, both versions of this console are used to play exactly the same games that are currently available on the market. The main difference with the Pro is its 4K capability, meaning the HDR graphics appear more vibrant and generally more impressive. Created by Sony, the PlayStation 4 and its ‘Pro’ upgrade can run games by using CD disks (which can be bought at shops) as well as downloadable games from the PlayStation Store.
Asides from gaming, the console can be used to operate a select number of apps, as well as stream movies and series from the likes of Hulu and Netflix.

As for future PlayStation and Xbox releases? We are still waiting for an official announcement, but industry insiders believe that the PlayStation 5, the next installment by Sony, won’t be available until at least 2019, with the next generation of Xbox to follow not long after that.
